Well, this was the first attempt of using the Copic markers I bought from the comic store, and I must say that I'm not too terribly impressed. The jacket was done with a yellow Sharpie, much cheaper than the Copics, and gave me much more consistent color. I was tempted to just color the thing in Photoshop, but I really wanted to do it in traditional analog. There was some unavoidable touchup in Photoshop being that it had to be scanned in 2 separate parts. However, No matter how it ended up looking, I'm just glad that it got colored by hand. If anyone has tips on how to handle these expensive markers to give non-crap color, drop a comment.
