Wow, haven't updated this thing for a while. Anyhow, first off I'll just say that its not a good time to be a celebrity, what with all the bad cases of DYING going around. Farrah Fawcett, haven't seen her since 'Man of the House', Michael Jackson, I think hes been dead to us for quite some time now. But the thing that pisses me off the most is Billy Mays kicking the bucket. I really loved his show Pitchmen, and actually started buying some of his endorsed products and liking them.

Ok, now that thats over, time to get on to something else that everyone is blogging about: Transformers 2. Yeah, I know. I'm not going to waste your time with the details, because by now you've either seen it, heard about it, or read a few reviews that slammed it into the ground. I saw the movie the day after it came out (Thursday), and tuned anyone out who spoke of it before hand. I'll go on record and say I enjoyed it and it was worth the time and money spent (I bought my ticket 2 weeks before it opened, what was I going to do?). I thought I was going to hate Sideswipe, but turned out actually liking him. Jetfire I knew was going to piss me off ever since I first saw the pictures of the toy and noticed he was using his front landing gear as a cane, but I didn't expect them to turn him into a space Pirate, or to have him be an ex-Decepticon. I could live with it though. The twins being total retards, please. One would have thought that the movie world learned its lesson with JarJar, but Michael Bay must have been missing those 10 years the rest of us were waiting for the new trilogy, as well as the subsequent mutual pissing off of the world the moment we all met that despicable Gungan. But you know what, I can live with that too.

The thing that got me most was Devastator. Not only could they not get him the right color, not only could they not get him to stand up right, not only did he only say one word in the whole film, but they had to go and put balls on him. I haven't felt so insulted since JarJar (damn, can't get that pile of shit off my mind now! AAAAAHHHHH!) Honestly, I haven't felt so sick to my stomach from watching a movie at that moment since seeing Magic Woman M (really people, don't watch it). After years of pleasant viewings of Transformers: The Movie, I feel that Michael Bay could have at least tried to do the character justice. I have been let down in the worst way possible. I might not even see the movie multiple times in theaters (saw the first one 3 times), which at least tells me something. I suppose I still have to remind myself that nobody can touch my G1 and the new movies are alt universe.
